Retro Riot Website Concept
Web Design & Development
I designed a website concept for a fictional brief of a 70s tribute band with an arcade theme. I took the concept from idea generation through to a working prototype. You can view the website here and the source code on GitHub. If you have Figma, you can view the design sketches here!
Agenix Intern Operator Project
Intern Project @ Red Hat
As part of my internship at Red Hat I developed a Kubernetes operator called Agenix in collaboration with two other interns. Written in Go, the operator automatically provisions and manages cryptographic identities for AI agent workloads, and is a simplified version of the rossoctl operator. View it on GitHub here.
OpenShell MCP for OpenWork
NVIDIA OpenShell
I created an MCP server for OpenWork (open-source alternative to Claude Cowork) to enable users from a non-technical background to make use of OpenShell's sandboxing & agent security through natural language prompting. My implementation includes an MCP server, custom agent, install scripts, and documentation. Designed for use with OpenShell on OpenShift & OpenShell pre-beta. You can view it on my GitHub here.
Craftee Website Concept
User Experience Design
For my UXD module in first year, I created a website for a fictional knit and crochet website called Craftee. I created a logo and branding for them to use throughout the website.
Lego Collection Tracker App
Web App Development I
I built a web app with a simple JSON store and basic login system where users can track the Lego sets in their collection. There is also a Statistics view where users can see how many pieces or sets they have, or the total cost of their collection. It follows the MVC framework and uses Cloudinary for image hosting, sessions for login, Handlebars for dynamic views, Node.js and Express for functionality, and Fomantic UI for styling. View the source code on GitHub here or try it yourself here with one of the sample accounts ('homer@simpson.com' or 'marge@simpson.com', password 'Secret1').
Portfolio Website (Website Builder)
Web Design & Development
We were tasked with creating a portfolio website for ourselves using our choice of website builder. I chose to use Wix for mine. The exercise was to see how much we could get out of a website builder without touching any code. It was really interesting to view web development from a different perspective, and challenging to see how much we could get out of the constraints of the website builder. It was much easier to quickly put together a site that looked clean but was very restricting to try and go beyond that. My website is deployed with Wix's free tier here.
Comic Book Library
Website Development II
This project started off as a website with some basic interactivity which allowed you to add, search, filter, remove, etc, a bank of comic book characters.
I expanded on this website for my second assignment, using Handlebars and local storage to create a library of comic book series. I also implemented other Javascript plugins, such as an image carousel.
This project can be found on my Github and I have deployed it to Netlify here.
Excel Plane Model
Maths for Graphics and Statistics
I used VBA code in Excel to create interactive 2D and 3D models of a plane using matrix algebra and cubic splines to transform and animate the model as well as generate solid and wireframe views.
This taught me a lot about my ability to apply concepts learned in one programming language (such as JavaScript) to quickly develop proficiency in another language I have no prior experience with such as VBA.
The Administration (Short Film Concept)
Pipeline Design Concepts
I created concepts for two film ideas for my Pipeline Design Concepts class. This included scripts, beatboards, storyboards, call sheets, and animatics with voice acting and sound design, which I then pitched to my classmates in a presentation.
This concept is for a short film called 'The Administration'. It was inspired by sci-fi films like Inception and "backrooms" aesthetics.
Rugby Team Management App
Creative Programming II
I built and implemented a rugby team management app using HTML and JavaScript for my Creative Programming II class. I designed a UI and used object-oriented programming to store, edit, and retrieve information in a user-friendly manner.
This project can be found on my Github and I have deployed it to Netlify here.
The Alien (Animated Short Film)
Newspaper Database
Database Fundamentals
I compiled a design document and built a relational database for a newspaper company in MySQL with a catalogue of sample queries for my Database Fundamentals class.
Building the database from scratch taught me a huge amount about relational databases and how they are applied to real world scenarios.
Audio Portfolio
Digital Audio Production
I created a portfolio for my Audio Production class comprised of ads for SETU Arena, SETU’s peer mentorship program, TFI’s Smarter Travel (as part of the Smarter Travel Student Awards), and DJ mashup. This involved collaborating with other students, working with professional equipment in a radio studio, editing audio in Audition, and composing music and loops in GarageBand and Ableton Live.
I also developed and hosted a simple website to showcase my work.
Things That Go Bump in the Night (Short Film Concept)
Pipeline Design Concepts
I created concepts for two film ideas for my Pipeline Design Concepts class. This included scripts, beatboards, storyboards, call sheets, and animatics with voice acting and sound design, which I then pitched to my classmates in a presentation.
This concept is for a short film called 'Things That Go Bump in the Night'. It is a lighthearted comedy film about mistaken identities and pretending to be someone you're not on a first date.
